I signed up for Amazon Prime 30 day free trial in beginning of March to get a quicker delivery on a product I bought. Could I just get a new card with completely new card and account number? Meanwhile I thought I'd ask has anyone else had this problem where they have been charged for a free Prime membership? Also what if someone has my card details and bought Amazon Prime on their account then removed the card? Could this be why Amazon can't find my card linked to any other account? I'm not sure what to tell my bank really because I never had any problems with my payments at all. I was told to contact my bank whom I am unable to get in touch with by phone but I will keep trying. I have been on live chat to Amazon who weren't of any help because there is no payment or subscription for Amazon Prime on my account and also my card is not linked to any other Amazon account. I went on my Amazon account to check all my orders and I can't find any order or payments for Prime membership, the last order is the product I bought on beginning of March. Today (1st April) after 2-3 days I went onto my online banking to check my direct debits as I have a few bills to pay on every 1st of month and I noticed that Amazon Prime have taken 1 months subscription fee from my bank account on 31st March. So I went on my Amazon account to cancel this auto renewal system but was then offered an extended free 30 day trial which expires towards end of April. A few days ago on 27th March, I got email saying my subscription is due to expire in few days and it was going to auto renew into monthly payment system.
